You supply the parts, I assemble and verify the system. If you still need a parts list, start with the free consultation — it costs nothing and there is no obligation to book a build afterward.

Complete PC builds include 3 months of free labor support

Support covers problems reasonably related to the assembly and configuration work performed by Maxtech, starting on the original service date. Details are in the warranty policy.

A Windows license is not included unless it is specifically purchased. If you already have a license or key, bring it and I will use it during setup.

Diagnostics

PC diagnostic — $40 typical on-site total

When a PC is misbehaving and the cause isn't obvious, the diagnostic is where to start. Common reasons people book it:

Clear diagnostic pricing

$20 diagnostic labor + $20 mobile visit = $40 typical on-site total. The labor covers testing components, isolating failures and explaining what I found.

Parts and repair labor are separate unless otherwise specified. You get the price for the repair before I do it, and you decide whether to go ahead.

Installation, replacement and upgrades

Set prices for standard installations on desktop and gaming PCs, including many prebuilt systems. Basic functionality testing after hardware replacement is included.

Repairs are not the same as builds

Individual repairs and upgrades do not include the three-month build labor support program. Maxtech stands behind the workmanship on the specific repair performed — see the repair service policy.

Software & setup

Windows, BIOS and driver setup

Windows installation

Clean installation, updates applied, and the machine handed over signed in and working. A license is not included unless specifically purchased.

BIOS & memory profiles

Firmware updated where appropriate, boot order set, and memory profiles (EXPO/XMP) enabled and verified for stability rather than switched on blindly.

Drivers & hardware testing

Chipset, GPU, network and storage drivers installed, followed by CPU, GPU, RAM and SSD testing with temperature monitoring.

On a complete build these are bundled into the $30 Ready-to-Play add-on. On an existing PC they can be booked as a repair or setup appointment — call or text if you're not sure which to choose.

Mobile service

On-site service

Maxtech is a mobile, appointment-based service. Most work happens at your place, which means no unplugging a full desktop and driving it across town.

  • Diagnostics, repairs and upgrades: a flat $20 on-site service fee
  • Custom PC builds: the on-site visit is included within 25 miles — no extra charge
  • Same fee anywhere in the service area, and it is shown before you confirm the booking

Complex systems

Prices shown represent standard installations. Some systems need an individual quote first:

  • Custom water cooling loops
  • Unusually complex RGB systems

  • Damaged systems requiring extensive reconstruction
